Pre-election Overview

Dominica's General Election 2009 will a close one. Several seats can be considered marginal, no more so than Castle Bruce which was won by the Labour Party with just a 1 vote margin (which was a margin of 0.00% of votes cast)

More of a deciding factor could be the ongoing corruption allegations against the Prime Minister.

This election the Freedom Party are set to put out a full slate of candidates, making the election a true three-horse race.
