New money laundering Act passed
Parliament has passed a new Money Laundering (Prevention) Act. Government now has the power to freeze assests of crime. The act supersedes a previous Act.

With crime escalating, especially with the sky rocketing increase in drugs and guns around the Caribbean the time to act is now. We all are victims when it comes to crime therefore this act by the legislature can be considered one of the most important moves (that is long overdue) and we commend Parliament for this.
